The lab report is on its way

We are having the Stormward Grid-Down Water Filter tested by an independent laboratory. When the report is ready, we will publish the full results on this page: what was tested, how, and the numbers — including anything that did not go our way.

Until then, the specifications on our product page are the manufacturer's figures.

What the filter is built to do

• Reduce bacteria and protozoa in fresh water
• Reduce sediment and microplastics
• Reduce chlorine taste and odor (carbon stage)

What it does not do

• It does not remove viruses, dissolved chemicals, heavy metals or salt
